UARC hosts Michigan's World Usability Day event annually in November. It is the largest gathering of industry professionals, world-class academics, government leaders, and students facilitating the progression of usability, user experience, and user-centered design.

UARC also offers full-day workshops, half-day workshops, and stand-alone presentations on a variety of topics, including user-centered design, developing accessible websites, WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 evaluation and design, retrofitting websites for accessibility, ARIA and accessible AJAX, and more.
