Valuing Web Usability & Accessibility: A Colloquium on Standards, Tools, and Testing, May 5, 2003
A two-day conference for professionals, faculty, researchers, Web designers, systems software developers, and IT managers across a broad range of disciplines and industries.
Join us for the Second Annual MSU Usability & Accessibility Conference, where we will explore how usability and accessibility principles, policy, research findings, design, methods, and tools can be used to improve persuasive communication with constituents in business and industry, government, and higher education. |
Take advantage of unique learning tracks focusing on key areas
This two-day conference brings attendees from both public and private sectors up to date on the latest information about testing techniques and technologies and expands understanding of the value of usability and accessibility evaluation among those who address the public through mechanisms such as the Internet. Attendees may select tutorials and presentations across several tracks, including Methods & Tools, User-Centered Design, Policy, Research, and more.
Tutorials and presentations revolve around the latest research findings on the relationship between usability and accessibility, return on investment, usability evaluation methods, Web site design, creating commitment to U&A in organizations, and others. Two nationally known keynote speakers offer insights into persuasive communication and research findings on voting and usability.
The Exhibition Hall will feature Demonstrations, Poster Sessions, a Book Table, and a variety of Exhibitors. |
Grand Opening!
Attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new MSU Usability & Accessibility Center, which will be open for tours and information sharing with the Center’s director, Dr. Sarah J. Swierenga.
This all-new, state-of-the-art facility will be open for conducting research and usability testing, and for training, education, and consulting services on accessibility, usability evaluation methodologies, and user-centered design techniques.
